One form is not enough
A general contact form gets you a name, an email and "is this still available?" Then come the follow-up messages to find out which home, which unit, or which problem. Separate forms fix that. Each one asks only what that kind of request needs, and the message arrives ready to act on.
Common forms and where they go
| Form | What it asks | Usually sent to |
|---|---|---|
| Showing request | Which listing, preferred days and times, whether they're working with an agent | The listing agent |
| Home value request | Address, home type, rough size, timing for a sale | The agent or team lead |
| Owner inquiry | Property type, number of units, address, whether it's rented now | The manager or owner of the firm |
| Repair request | Unit, problem, photos, access times, whether it's urgent | Maintenance inbox |
| Tour request | Which unit, move-in date, number of pets | Leasing inbox |
| General question | Name, email, message | Main inbox |
How we design them
- Few fields, with the most useful questions first and contact details last
- Listing and unit pages fill in which home or unit the person means
- Photo upload from a phone camera on repair requests
- A clear note on the form about what happens next and when you usually reply
- Spam traps that don't make real people solve puzzles
Urgent repairs
A web form is the wrong place for a burst pipe at night. Every repair form we build says, near the top, what counts as an emergency and how to reach you for one. The form handles everything else, which is most requests.
Privacy
Forms collect only what you need. Messages go to the inboxes you choose, and we explain where form data is stored before launch. We never ask for bank details, Social Security numbers or full applications on a contact form; if you take applications, we link to the tool you already use for them.
Questions
Can forms go into my CRM or spreadsheet?
Often, yes, if your tool accepts email or a connection from web forms. We check what yours supports during the quote.
Can I add forms to the site I have now?
Usually. If your current site lets us add a page or an embed, we can build the forms on their own and link them in.
